Your word against mine is an addictive word creation puzzle with some hidden twists. This first release uses a UK dictionary only. Well be releasing updates with many new features, including an option to play with your friends, soon. If you install just now, these features will be automatically downloaded when we update the app.
Later there will be a US specific dictionary added as well as more complex game modes so there is a word game that satisfies everyone, such as feuding in real time against your friends in your Google+ circles or anonymously against a player anywhere in the world.
This first release features two solo word game modes.Infinity - Create words and score points with no time limit.Timed - Play against the clock. Valid words give you more time.
Unlike some other word games, Your word against mine (YWAM) requires very limited permissions. It does not require that you create an account with Facebook or ourselves. All you need to play YWAM is your existing Google Account.
In future we may use Facebook for turn based gaming, but only if folk want us to. Please let us know.
YWAM uses Google Play Services to support achievements and leader boards.
"Your word against mine" is also fully compliant with EU cookie legislation. When you first run the app, you will be asked to confirm the use of cookies. As most applications and websites use these, wed like to see other apps being more upfront about the need to be compliant with this important legislation.
"Your word against mine" (YWAM) has been implement to be Daltonism friendly/colour blind friendly with reasonable contrast and with a dark background to preserve device battery life.
